MOVO is an artist run studio space for performance and visual art incubation. Morgan Thorson and Valerie Oliveiro are both artists that use multiple mediums in performance work. Our studio is located in the Ivy Building for the Arts and has a combined square footage of approximately 3000 sq feet. Ivy Building for the Arts is a mixed use building with a diverse group of artist studios.

MOVO started when Morgan needed an incubator type space where she could build her show over intensive periods without having to set up the space from scratch every day. She needed an incubator.

We work with all kinds of artists who need space to make  their work. As each work is different, we often sit down with people to figure out what each project's logistics are. The space is raw and bare - there is no technical equipment or art materials.
